Q: What is Occlusion Online?
A: Occlusion Online is a massively multiplayer online game that is currently in development. It will be based in an environment where multiple users can interact with each other and achieve structured goals. The game will allow users to create characters based on numerical attributes (ie. Strength, dexterity, intelligence) and templated roles (ie. Tank, Cleric, Druid) with different strengths and weaknesses. Game-play will typically revolve around a combination of interactive story-telling and logistical optimizations under the guise of slaying monsters and attaining higher levels and skills
Q: What is a MMORPG?
A: Massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) is a genre of online computer role-playing games (CRPGs) in which a large number of players interact with one another in a virtual world.
Q: What makes a MMORPG different from a RPG?
A: Well, besides the fact that tens of thousands of people can play this type of game at the same time and interact with each other, the biggest difference is that MMORPGs can be constantly updated with new content and challenges for the player. Occlusion Online creates new content and improvements for the game on a monthly basis. We will provided more downloadable content to the player as part of their subscription fee, the game will increas dramatically in size, scope and features over time. You cant get that kind of support from a non-MMORPG.
Q: Will there be a subscription fee to play this game?
A: Yes. Given the expense of creating the game, maintaining the customer service system and creating new content, the only way for a company to justify these expenses is with a monthly subscription fee. However, when you look at the monthly fee (usually $10-$16USD) that a player pays to access the content almost 24x7, there are few entertainment values that can top that.
Q: When will this game be available to the public?
A: We don't have a release date as of this time. We plan on taking the time we need to make the game that we want.

A: No you do NOT need to be familiar with existing games in order to enjoy the MMO.
